September 14, 2026: What Gets First Place?
Share
One Scripture. Three moments. One day.
Today's anchor: Matthew 6:33
What gets first place quietly shapes everything that comes after it.
MORNING: ALIGN
Before the day gets loud, decide what leads.
Urgency will try to convince you that whatever is shouting the loudest deserves first place. It does not. Start by deciding what your life is going to orbit around before pressure starts making that decision for you.
Today's action: Name the one thing that needs to come back into first place today.
MIDDAY: RESET
Check what actually took first place.
By midday, your calendar, fear, money, people, frustration, or unfinished work may have taken over your attention. Do not condemn yourself. Just notice it and correct it.
Reset action: Ask, “What has been leading me since this morning?” Then make one practical correction.
NIGHT: REFLECT
Release tomorrow before you carry it into bed.
You can plan without mentally living tomorrow tonight. End the day by separating what required your responsibility today from what you are trying to control before it even arrives.
Tonight's question: What am I carrying tonight that does not belong in tonight?
