September 19, 2026: Surrender Before Strategy
Share
One Scripture. Three moments. One day.
Today's anchor: Luke 9:23
You can build a smart plan around the wrong motive and still call it progress.
MORNING: ALIGN
Ask what needs to be surrendered before asking what needs to be solved.
Sometimes the obstacle is not a lack of information. It is the part of you that insists the outcome has to happen your way, on your timing, with your approval.
Today's action: Name one thing you are trying to control that is controlling you back.
MIDDAY: RESET
Check whether your strategy is actually disguised resistance.
A plan can look responsible while quietly protecting pride, fear, comfort, or image. Midday is the place to ask whether your next move is aligned or simply convenient.
Reset action: Make one choice today that costs your ego something but moves you toward what is right.
NIGHT: REFLECT
Let the day search you instead of merely judging everyone else.
Reflection is useful when it reaches deeper than who irritated you and what went wrong. Ask what the day exposed about your motives, reactions, and attachments.
Tonight's question: What did today reveal that I would rather explain away than change?

What are you calling strategy that may really be refusal to surrender?
